Obligatory "First Post" Post

I guess I'm part of a trend of people looking to (soft?) leaving Twitter for other social media platforms, though I feel like I have to figure out how Dreamwidth "fits" into my social media habits and usage. But I'm posting this to sort of jump right into the deep end, and I have no idea what to expect.

But I'm excited, I'm poking around, I'm making my way downtown.

The sign that I've been Online too much today

is that in downloading all of my Twitter data I discovered unsolicited nudes that probably got filtered somehow before I saw them are all saved with my account data! Wow! I do not want this!

I really should look into my social media data; the only thing I want the internet to know about me is what I choose to overshare.
