It's crunch time at the end of the semester

and I'm re-reading parts of past literary pedagogy classes I've taken for one of my final projects. My most frequent annotation in this one book is my raging against the frequent use of welfare metaphors in the particular book that had really great ideas, but the wording was just so off.

Reading back on it now, I'm realizing that maybe it was in conversation with the Paolo Freire banking model of education, but damn, it really made me mad, I guess.
